spotted...knit1 + male knitters

knit1's latest issue apparently features yours truly discussing the wonders of australian knitting (and boy, do we feel like we've been busted with our pants around our ankles blog wise...). we haven't been able to track down a copy (and now we understand why - subscribers get theirs early, the great unwashed have to wait for it to be stocked in maybe 3 or so melbs newsagents - should you know who stocks knit1, let us know). we're rather fond of the art/fashion issue with a spotted felted bag.
knit1 seem to have a thing for featuring eye candy for knitters - the male issue featuring a centrefold (!) and an interesting accessory on their bear rug. he doesn't look too comfy with those needles, but yarn is wrapped correctly around the right bits, so we'll let him off this time.
russell from series four of six feet under, we're not so sure:

six feet under got a touch dallas relationship wise - russell is the ex of claire due to his experimenting with their old art teacher who's now seeing claire's brothers ex girlfiend's mother. meanwhile, claire is getting keen on her new teacher billy, claire's brother's ex girlfriends brother. it all makes sense seeing the episodes, as old as they are. dvds have been coming in handy for getting through crocheting the dress - plodding along, and with any luck, maybe we'll have it ready in time for going to alice springs for the beaniefest in june/july.
